Auronis

Auronis is the side protagonist who was born in the Eastern side of The Ancient Lands. The East had nothing in store for her, so to make herself feel useful she travelled to the West. She is now allied with the western force.

Fun fact: I haven't actually made a backstory for her yet. Whoops. 😓

Crow

Crow, a main protagonist. His entire childhood was spent with his mother(Unidentified). Due to her being albino, Crow inherited this which is why parts of his fur are pearly white. Genetically, his species: Dracorvus caelestis, are cannibalistic. The mother is known to eat their mate after birth, which is why Crow doesn't have a father. But as tradition, the skull is left for their child to wear as a mask.

Hoshi

Hoshi, meaning Galaxy, is a comet dragon! She lives in space and comes down to earth during sunset, evening and night. Her paws and wings have the colorscheme of a flaming falling comet. But her scales are aqua blue. Each comet dragon has the planet they were born in in their eyes (not literally, their eyes just look like the planet itself.) Comet dragons, like Hoshi, are also very important for the cosmos as they can controll how planets move and stars fly. This makes them very powerful creatures. The reason that comet dragons don't come down during day, is because of how fragile they are in their mortal form, because they change form when going up to space. Their and Hoshi's history would tell why.

Description

On a planet lightyears away from The Ancient Lands, Hoshi was born. She was taught from a young age to understand why, and how, to bend the galaxy to her will. Hoshi is not evil, but curious. So she visited many planets during her time alive. She was taught to only visit planets during sunset, evening and night, so she did. One day, as her comets flew through space, it was all visible on the northern side of The Ancient Lands (TAL). One dragon, who's name is Crow, saw these beautiful comets and was amazed by them. With Hoshi's amazing eyesight, she was able to put her focus on the dragon who was watching her. She decided to visit him. As she flew down, she was like a bright star until her form shifted to her mortal one. She flew stil in the sky, looking down on the white dragon with the moon behind her, making the scene look more magical.

Slowly making her way to the ground, but still flying above the water, she inspected the dragon. He looked majestic in her eyes. Hoshi tried communicating with him, but it seemed impossible to her. Hoshi (and all other comet dragons) can only speak telepathically. She realized that the dragon couldn't hear her, so she slowly flew back up to leave, but the pearly white dragon didn't want her to go. He didn't understand. Through body language she could tell that he didn't want her to leave, but the feeling of loneliness started to consume her.

Hoshi secretly visited TAL, just to learn to understand their language. She shifted into different animals to blend in, to not be noticed. Every night she tried to visit the dragon in the North, she didn't even know their name yet. And every night was a succes. She was never able to stay there longer than an hour before being caught and forced to leave. Her parents noticed that she was trying to hang out with a mortal behind their back, and kept her locked away on her childhood planet. Hoshi did everything to see him again, even breaking the rules her parents made up. She finally understood what the dragon was saying. She had many words and stories that she would like to tell him, but the thought of it not being possible always roamed in the back of her mind. This dragon cured her loneliness, so in return she wanted to give him something back. Little did she know it would cost her life.

She sat down next to the dragon, with her claw she wrote down what she wished she could tell him, but yet again another problem occured: they also don't share the same language. Everything felt hopeless. So instead, Hoshi did what she thought was the final thing she could do: give up some of her power to the dragon. She didn't understand how powerful but fragile she was, and as the cosmic power flew through Crow, almost destroying him, he noticed her colours fading away. Crow could finally hear thoughts, it worked. It was a strange feeling for the dragon to hear and understand something he had never heard. Hoshi on the other hand was struggeling, her body feeling as if she was fading away. "What is your name?" Hoshi asked the dragon through the mind. "It's Crow. And.. yours?" Hoshi could not awnser. She flew up in a swift second, Crow confused as ever looked up as his love just.. disappears. She felt her body crumble, quickly made her way up to space and decided her last words to him would be through her comets and stars. Since Crow obtained her power, he saw the sky completely light up with stars in symbols and comets in multiple colours and heard her. "The comets will guide you, Crow. Please, keep visiting me every night. Goodnight my love"

Hoshi will only be reborn after the source who obtained her power has passed away.

Moonlight

Moonlight, a dark blue dragon who was born in the Ancient west, fought in the war between Stellar and the Western alience. During this time, he got in the hands of Stellar and lost his right eye due to the corrupted crystals which Stellar shot at him. Since then, he has developed many new elements and often can't control the crystalized version of him. On his back, wings, tail and even in his mouth, crystals seem to be growing. When attacking, he's able to use them to charge up his powers even more. Now he strives to defeat Stellar, but due to the past, he holds himself back from doing so.

Description

When Moonlight was still a teenager, he was denied to join the Western Force. Onyx, the leader of the Western tribe, saw his potential, but denied him at first. When Moonlight became an adult, he tried again and was finally accepted. He really was a show-off, but it payed out. But as soon as Stellar wanted to take over TAL, this turned out to be one of the most chaotic wars in time. It all started at the sea between Stellar's Edge and the Eastern lands of TAL. Many Northern dragons had to give up their lives whilst fighting underwater. Stellar was almost able to conquer the East. Due to Moonlight's overconfidence, he felt that he could easily take on Stellar. At first glance, Onyx and Moonlight's friends thought this was a suicide attempt and tried to hold him back. Moonlight on the other hand couldn't care and fought a 1v1 with Stellar. Across the skies, the battle looked like a thunderstorm. They held on for a long time, but as soon as Moonlight got distracted, Stellar was able to hit him to the ground. He got hit into the Canyons of the Unspoken which left him critically injured. Stellar wanted to completely finish the job and take Moonlight's life for good. But instead held him up and with his paw he summoned crystals that bashed through Moonlight's socket, corrupting him for good. Stellar couldn't only have his focus on one dragon, so he left Moonlight there. Fortunately, Auronis spotted him fairly easy and sent Reyan to help Moonlight since he was the one that knew Moonlight best.

Now as time went on, Moonlight loses alot of his memory due to the corruption. He developed chronic mental illnesses.

Meredith

Meredith is the leader of the Nothern force of TAL. Her temple is found under her lake in the North. She is a blue with dark grey Leviathan. Her wings represent the flow of water and air.
